Potential Wildlife Verges in the Parish
You may be aware that the Parish Council has adopted a verge in Peckleton under the LCC Wildlife Verge Scheme.
The basis of the scheme is that the verge is left to wildlife and mowed once each year in the autumn, allowing native species to thrive.

Leicestershire County Council are offering the opportunity to attend open sessions at a number of wildlife verges in the county, including Peckleton Wildlife Verge on Church Road - 3rd June at 2pm.
