Stan Pitt Award - Winner Announced
The winner of the 2019 Stan Pitt Community Award was announced at the Parish Meeting on 30th April.
This year's winner, Mrs Dorothy Draycott, was a very worthy nominee; described as a long-term supporter of the communities of Peckleton and Kirkby Mallory. Lest we forget
To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of hostilities of the 1st World War the Parish Council has placed, in each village, a bench with a design reminiscent of the conflict.

New Dog Bins in Peckleton
Peckleton now has three new dog bins to help keep the pavements and open spaces clear of dog fouling and to help responsible dog owners to more easily dispose of their dog's faeces. The Parish Council, in addition to providing the bins, has contracted with HBBC for all the bins to be emptied every week.

Volunteers needed to help with litter picking
VOLUNTEERS are being sought by the Borough Council to help with litter picking in various parts of Hinckley & Bosworth.
