Stan Pitt Award - Winner Announced

The winner of the 2019 Stan Pitt Community Award was announced at the Parish Meeting on 30th April.

This year's winner, Mrs Dorothy Draycott, was a very worthy nominee; described as a long-term supporter of the communities of Peckleton and Kirkby Mallory. Update - Roberts Coaches - Route 159 Coalville to Hinckley

After a strong campaign by local councillors and residents, the County Council have stepped in to temporarily fund the route 159 until June 2019.

The Parish Council will continue to monitor the situation.
