Residents to have their say on HBBC council services
People living in the Hinckley & Bosworth area are being asked for their opinion on the services they receive from the Borough Council.
The survey is carried out annually with regular questions on satisfaction to allow the council to monitor trends over time.

New machines mean no more loose change
The Borough Council is phasing in new ticket machines at its pay-and-display car parks across Hinckley town centre.
New machines are being installed in the Leisure Centre, St Mary's Road and Church Walk car parks this month with others introduced gradually over the new few months.
The new pay-and-display machines will provide a variety of quick and simple ways for people to pay for their parking.

New Grant Funds for Volunteers and Voluntary Groups
The Parish Council has become aware the Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council has created a new fund to support volunteers.
The fund is to recognise the invaluable work being delivered by volunteers across the Borough and the significant impact this has on improving the quality of life for communities. The total amount being made available in the new Community Volunteers Fund is £10,000.00.

Update - Roberts Coaches - Route 159 Coalville to Hinckley
After a strong campaign by local councillors and residents, the County Council have stepped in to temporarily fund the route 159 until June 2019.
The Parish Council will continue to monitor the situation.

Lest we forget
To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of hostilities of the 1st World War the Parish Council has placed, in each village, a bench with a design reminiscent of the conflict.
