After a long delay due to lockdown, we were delighted to be able to finally present Peter Leech with his award.
The award was formally presented by Dr Luke Evans MP, with Sally Sharpling (daughter of Stan Pitt), Peter Chick and Angela Porter present.

New Councillors
We are delighted that Sean Warren and Peter Leech have been co-opted on to the parish council.
The council now has a full compliment of 6 councillors with 2 for each ward. Sean will represent Kirkby Mallory ward and Peter will represent Stapleton ward.

Councillor Vacancies
Peckleton Parish Council currently has 2 councillor vacancies - one in Kirkby Mallory and one in Stapleton. Attached is the formal notice regarding the recent casual vacancy at Stapleton.
Council are keen to hear from anyone who is willing and able to help represent these 2 villages in the parish.

Update from the Borough Council about waste collections
UPDATE:
Brown bin (green/garden waste) collections will resume in week commencing 27th April 2020.
These will be collected on the normal days you have been used to.
